Dead-Chuffed Theatre was founded in 2019: a group pf actors/prospective playwrights meeting in a pub in Mirfield on the second Tuesday of every month.

The first production was a rehearsed reading of new scripts written by the group on the theme of "Fashion" in January 2020.
​
During lockdown, the group continued to meet online like everyone else.
​
The second production of scripts by the group was in January 2024 in a Saturday Matinee performance at Mirfield Community Centre.

Dead- Chuffed will be releasing audio recordings of more new scripts on Spotify in 2025.

What we do...
Online writing and sharing workshops are held on the first Wednesday of the month. Live performing workshops are held on the third Saturday of every month..
We rehearse and record scripts by our company members on a regular basis. Rehearsals are mostly online until recording day..
We use a lot of improvisation to explore our characters and situations. We often video these to be shown on our social media pages..
We do live performances for local audiences. Actors from the company and others occasionally take part..
